Based in the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, the Upper Island Retriever Club (UIRC) is dedicated to promoting and facilitating the training of gun dogs and the training of novice to advanced gun dog handlers and owners. 

 

The Upper Island Retriever Club was founded in 1974, held its first licensed CKC field trial in the mid 1970's and is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).
